If you’re interested, please use the contact form to send us up to 8K of a sample of your current work (note: this could be an old story that you’re revising, but we prefer to see what you’re doing now, not what you’ve done before). Please use double line breaks between paragraphs and strip out any HTML, though you can use _underline_. If you have a website or any previous credits, send those along, too.

The Town Council will read your writing sample, and, if it’s a good fit, we’ll invite you to a meeting. For your first meeting, we ask that you sit and watch how we do things. If you’re still interested, give your email address to the Librarian, and you’ll get soft copies of everything that’s up for critique at the next meeting. After you’ve delivered written and oral critiques, you’ll be allowed to submit a story. If you survive the critique, you’ll be invited to join the Fictionados.
