Meghan was called Bucky in the womb, after R. Buckminster Fuller. She grew up outside Philadelphia with a mother who “made” her watch Star Trek:The Next Generation, some awesome siblings, a rotating cast of step-family members, and a father who taught her to play a ruthless game of monopoly. She’s an alum of Clarion West ‘04. Her work has appeared in Strange Horizons, and is forthcoming in Twenty Epics and Flytrap. Her story “Close to You” was on the 2005 Locus Recommended Reading List. She blogs about science fiction, movies, feminism, and the beautiful stupidity of post-college life here. She currently lives in the Los Feliz neighborhood of LA.
